Richard Petit est né à Laval en 1972 et est le frère de l'humoriste Martin Petit. Il est auteur-compositeur, interprète, réalisateur, metteur en scène, directeur artistique et concepteur québécois. Il écrit aussi des chansons pour plusieurs chanteuses québécoise, notamment Ima, Gabrielle Destroismaison et Eva Avila.
Richard Petit was born in Laval in 1972 and is the brother of comedian Martin Petit. He is a Quebec songwriter, performer, director, artistic director and designer. He also writes songs for several Quebec singers, including Ima, Gabrielle Destroismaison and Eva Avila.
