Volcano is the sole studio album by Canadian indie band Hot Springs, released on September 18 2007. The band's combo of futuristic synths and scrappy anthemic rock recalls fellow Montreal indie greats Wolf Parade. Standout single "Fog and the Horn" showcases frontwoman Giselle Webber's impressive vocal range, channeling the delicate delivery of Bjork and the belting of Melissa Etheridge. The band broke up in 2008.
