The Last Blues Album, Vol.1 is a studio album by American jazz drummer Buddy Rich, released in 1974. The band features bassist Bob Cranshaw (Sonny Rollins), pianist Kenny Barron (Stan Getz, Dizzie Gillespie), guitarist George Freeman (Charlie Parker), organist Jimmy McGriff (Junior Parker, Bernard Purdie), and saxophonist Illinois Jacquet (Lester Young, Count Basie). Rich is considered one of the greatest and most influential drummers of all time.
