Oowatanite is a compilation album by Canadian rock band April Wine, released in 1990. The compilation contains songs from the following albums: Electric Jewels (1973), Stand Back (1975), The Whole World's Goin' Crazy (1976), First Glance (1978) and The Nature of the Beast (1981). April Wine enjoyed international success in the 1970s and 1980s, releasing more than 20 albums since 1971. They opened for bands such as The Rolling Stones, Rush, Nazareth, and scored numerous platinum and gold-selling records in Canada and the US.
