After most musicians from King Biscuit Boy's band began embarking on a separate endeavour under the name Crowbar, Ronnie Hawkins agreed to the collaborative Blues and Country release "Official Music". This project features what was to come of Crowbar's signature sound as a band, where they would find themselves succeeding time and time again over a very prolific career.
