Masada is the sixth studio album by American jazz flautist and saxophonist Joe Thomas, released in 1975. Thomas features most prominently on tenor saxophone, backed by a band that includes legendary drummer Steve Gadd (Steely Dan, Paul McCartney, Bee Gees, Chick Corea). The album incorporates elements of disco, funk, and soul. Thomas has collaborated with Dr. Lonnie Smith, Jimmy McGriff, Beck, James Moody, and more.
