Stampeders - Greatest Hits (2xLP)
Greatest Hits is double compilation album (2xLP) by Canadian rock band Stampeders, released in 1984. The album includes the band's certified-gold hit, "Sweet City Woman," which won Best Single at the Juno Awards (1971) and peaked at #1 on the RPM magazine charts and #8 in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. The Stampeders also won Juno Awards for Best Group, Best Producer (Mel Shaw), and Best Composer (Rich Dodson) that year. Incorporating elements of blues, yacht rock, and soft rock, the band's sound has been likened to that of Burton Cummings, America, and Little River Band.
