Dany Bédar is a francophone Québécois singer from Val-d'Or in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Quebec, Canada. At the age of 19, Bédar moved to Montreal.
In 1993, he was the bass player of the group Sex Solution with Richard Gibouleau, percussionist and Karl Coderre, fellow guitarist and singer. In 1999, the members of the group La Chicane asked Bédar to join them as the bass guitarist to which he accepted and remained until 2007.
