Georges Henri Dor is a singer, songwriter, author, playwright, director, journalist, and actor (born 10 March 1931 in Drummondville, QC; died 24 July 2001 in Longueuil, QC). A versatile artist who wrote poetry, novels and plays, and composed music for film, Georges Dor is perhaps best known as a singer for his hit song “Le Manic,” which profoundly marked the Québec chanson.
