Following the success of their debut album, Stampeders released their second studio album "Carryin' On" in 1971. The band was coming off the win of the 1971 Juno award for Best Single with their debut single "Sweet City Woman" and they continued with their achievements on this follow up album. "Carryin' On" charted 16th in Canada and was certified Gold.
