Here we have a whimsical folk Pop Rock release with period orchestral embellishments. Barry Stagg, who was at the time the more popular of the two, is a Canadian born musician from Montreal. Highlights from this project include ‘If Ever’ takes on a nice pop rock melody. The quicker paced ‘Face Of The Sun’ has a some fuzz arrangement that bust in and out. Then there’s the dainty ‘Linda’ which has great period flavour and finally the hit album single ‘To Love Means To Be Free’.
